Saturday, June 9 at 10:00AM - Lunenburg Oceans Day

Bring your reusables! Water bottles, coffee thermos', etc. as there will be no single-use items available at this event!

Coastal Action is hosting a World Oceans Day event on the Lunenburg waterfront, taking place on Saturday, June 9th. Focused on this year's Oceans Day theme of plastic pollution prevention and awareness, the event will be zero-waste in efforts to share the message of single-use plastic reduction. Our goal is to create an event that will bring together a variety of partners and organizations that use and explore the ocean in a sustainable way while honing activities to the theme of plastic impacts and solutions.

The event will have ocean activities, educational opportunities for the public, marine debris art and activities at booths, coffee/beverages, and the chance to come together as a community and share ideas about reducing plastic use in our area.

Stay tuned for activities and details! For more information and to get involved, please contact
